Human Forest River
not good
its good
good!!!!!
[we] fell
it hert
it feels wild
feels light
feels bright
this feels familiar to us
the air around [us]
trees
leaves
humans
theyve lived for
along long time
the river
the forest and river have lived
alongside each other for a long time
post it notes
because they are made out of wood
like the trees
now we know
it’s important for people
to come to the forest
how to create things using the forest
we would like humans
to come here again
some red beetles are beautiful
and part of nature
we can all work in harmony
and enjoy time together
we can work together
with the forest
next time we hope
we finck we want to could cum backe agene
that we ar not harming [them]
foriset
[we] hope that
you remeber us :D
that we meet again
please
that the sun is here again ☼
the forest hopes we
continue to show respect

For a moment, we allowed ourselves to experience an interconnected moment in this urban forest place. We investigated the more-than-human connections in and with Gateshead Riverside Park, using our bodies, personal stories, and collaborative place-based explorations. During and after each prompt, we record our responses. This is the urban forest story we uncovered.
