the places that profoundly shaped me are manifold, everywhere, everywhen.

Exploring new places and sharing their stories is at the heart of everything I do.

  • As a landscape architect and communication professional, understanding interactions between more-than-human beings (including humans) and their environments is key. My interdisciplinary approach is interscalar and intersectional, combining landscape architectural design and research with effective communication expertise and creative methods. This allows me to work with radical imagination and to collaborate with a diverse range of more-than-human communities.

I founded Studio PLACES as a place to explore the many strands that interest me and to collaborate with a diverse range of partners. My work always revolves around the core principles expressed in the acronym PLACES: plants, landscape architecture, community engagement, and storytelling.
